The conference was attended by industry experts, thought leaders, researchers, academians, farmers, policymakers and other agribusiness stakeholders from different parts of the world – it served as a nexus for potential partnerships and collaborations, exchange of ideas, networking, and education on some of the latest and best practices in the agriculture industry.
Interaction, participation and engagement from the attentive audience was evident through the use of presentations, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and even workshops. Some of the key topics that were discussed include sustainable innovation in agriculture,Public- Private Academia Partnership, Financial Ecosystems, rural communities and rural development. All presenters did a wonderful job of providing insightful information on the challenges of agribusiness, and some of the best solutions to mitigate them.







On Day 3 of the conference, CEO and President of ShareLovv, Tobi Lovv, captivated the audience during her session on Unlocking Potential The panelists included ; Aline Kabanda, Resgional Director at Jasiri and Rwanda Country Director at Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy; Alberta Akosa, founder and executive director at Agrihouse Foundation and Agrihouse Communications; and Emmanuel Ndayizigiye, founder and CEO of Yalla Yalla Group and Ms Adowa Koren, CEO of Green Staple Collective LTD
The topics addressed in the session included:
- Youth training – gearing a generation towards technology and innovation- challenges and silver lining.
- Policy building as an important tool in women empowerment in agriculture. A detriment or must.
- Leadership programs and how they are integral to the future of our societies.
- Breaking down myths around gender barriers and perceptions- real life cases of marginalization and unequal access.
