On Saturday, September 28th, ShareLovv International CEO Tobi Lovv hosted a highly anticipated informative session bringing together Magen David Adom (MDA) UK Africa Outreach and Kenya Friends of Israel (KEFI).
Over a dozen supporters were eager to gain updated insights and to strengthen their stance in support of Israel. Public opinion remains a critical issue for many, and this event aimed to address those concerns, offering facts, stories, and a deeper look into Magen David Adom (MDA) as a reflection of Israel’s enduring spirit. The two-hour event was filled with inspiring presentations and meaningful discussions, leaving a lasting impact on attendees.

The session opened with an introduction to MDA, covering its essential role in Israel’s emergency medical services, blood donation, and humanitarian aid. Participants were eager to learn more about MDA’s life-saving work, and many expressed curiosity about how they could actively support these efforts, despite being far from Israel.
The event covered key topics including: Exploring Magen David Adom as a reflection of Israel’s spirit, witnessing miracles orchestrated by God through Magen David Adom, and finally, joining the Magen David Adom community.
These discussions helped attendees better understand MDA’s mission and the vital role it plays both in Israel and globally.
One of the most memorable moments came when Tobi Lovv shared the powerful story of Ophir, a volunteer at MDA’s Sderot station. Ophir had narrowly escaped the October 7 attack, but, undeterred by the danger, continued his shift with MDA. This act of selflessness and commitment to serving others, despite facing unimaginable adversity, encapsulated the spirit of MDA. As Tobi Lovv noted during the session, “Regardless of everything that has happened, I have a mandate. I could think of myself, but I choose to think of others instead.”
This story resonated deeply with attendees, highlighting the unwavering dedication of MDA volunteers and their role as everyday heroes.
Prayer and action: A powerful combination
Another important theme that emerged was the role of prayer and action. Tobi Lovv emphasized that while prayer for Israel remains central for many Christians, combining prayer with action can create an even greater impact. Attendees were encouraged to not only continue praying for Israel but also to take active steps—whether by becoming MDA ambassadors, donating to MDA’s causes, or supporting its life-saving work.
A key objective of this virtual session was to convey that MDA’s mission speaks a universal language of hope and compassion.
